Single-Cell Pooled CRISPR Screens
The CRISPR Detect was designed to enable single-cell pooled CRISPR screens at unprecedented scale. Bulk pooled CRISPR screening has been a valuable tool to understand gene function on a genome scale. However, the applications and scale of these studies have been limited by the throughput and cost of droplet-based single cell RNA-seq technology. The company claims the CRISPR Detect brings the scale of existing Parse Evercode technology to single cell CRISPR screening by enabling users to pair perturbations and transcriptional profiles in up to one million cells in a single experiment.
